Watch out Hollywood!

Here we come!

Okay, not really. I had the awesome opportunity to photograph the girls for a local magazine my sister-in-law works for. Molly made it on to the cover, and the girls have some pictures on the inside as well.

You can view the magazine here.

Here is the cover picture.

So if you live in the Michiana area, run out and pick one up. They are free!

Happy 8 Months Molly!

First I want to say to myself, "Bad blogger... BAD". A plague called Rotavirus swept through our house last week and I am still picking up the pieces from soiled sheets and vomit ground into the carpet.

BUT our Miss. Molly Moo turned 8 months this week! I managed to wrangle her long enough to get some measurements and it turns out she is 17lbs exactly [according to our scale] and 27 inches long. She has also learned a new trick...

Doesn't she look so proud? Getting her down for a nap went from extremely easy to extremely hard because now all she wants to do is pull up. And then once she gets herself pulled up, she cannot figure out how to get down.

She is army crawling all over the place like a champ. Just this morning I was in our bedroom talking to Dustin and she came boot scootin' from the family room to find us. She cracks me up because when she finally gets to where she wants she lets out a scream that sort of reminds me of a velociraptor.

She hates baby food and I am starting to feel like she'll be taking her bottle of formula to Kindergarten. She is such a happy baby. She will crawl from toy to toy and room to room entertaining herself. She takes great naps and sleeps well at night.

Love this girl!

Wish List Wednesday

I haven't done this in awhile but recently I have had a lot of "wishes"...

1. A Nook. For awhile I turned my nose down at the Kindle and the Nook. I was perfectly happy with my real books, but they can certainly add up. I also like the idea of being able to download a book and have it right away, rather than waiting for the UPS man to deliver them from Amazon.

2. An iPod Nano. My video iPod has been faithful for 4+ years now but it is slowly dying on me. The battery doesn't last as long and it doesn't connect to the computer as well as it used to. I love to exercise while listening to music, so I am definitely lusting after a new one!

This is the older version, Google wouldn't pull up the new one

3. A Gym Membership. I just completed a two week trail at a gym and I loved it. I mainly did Zumba class --which is super fun-- but I wouldn't mind using the equipment and maybe participating in some of the other glasses they have to offer.

What are you wishing for on this snowy [well here] Wednesday?
