Halloween Costume Poll
Halloween is on it's way and the time has come to plan Brooke's costume! I have come up with several ideas over the past week or two and now I just need to make a decision and pick one. Want to help? I will be putting a Poll on the right side of my blog for YOU to vote on until the end of this week. I have also taken a Poll on my mom forum and within the family.
So here are the choices....

Some Pictures
As promised, here are a few pictures from Haley. I am not sure if any of my readers are from Wisconsin but if you are, you should probably consider her as a photographer! As you can see from the pictures, Brooke had a blast playing with Ella!

This time last year...
Labor Day last year we were out in Philly visiting my family. Not only had I just entered my third trimester but my first baby shower was that weekend. I am not sure why I wrote this post considering I blogged about it a year ago... I guess I just felt like reminiscing.

Labor Day Weekend
What a weekend we had! Friday my Nest friend Haley and her little girl Ella came into town and we were able to get together for a play date. Haley took some adorable pictures that I will be sure to post as soon as she emails them to me. Friday night we headed to the Northridge football came to cheer for Daddy and Grandpa as they he kept the stats on the sideline!
Saturday Dustin and I dropped Brooke off with Grandma and headed to the Notre Dame game. I forgot my memory card for my camera so I only have some pictures we took with Dustin's phone camera. We had SO much fun cheering for the Irish and taking in the game atmosphere!
Sunday we went to Dustin's parents house for the evening. Jena and Wes came and we spent the night playing with Brooke and watching a movie. Today Dustin's mom picked me up at 7:40am to go to the Flea Market in Shipshewana. We spent 4 hours walking around (this place is HUGE) and bought a few "necessities" while there. We also spent another hour in town looking in the boutiques and grabbing some lunch. I came home for a quick nap and then we headed back to his parents house for more food and play time with Jena and Wes.
In short, it was a great weekend!

September!
Can it really be September already? September is one of my favorite months because it marks the beginning of Fall, which is the best season by far! I cherish these next few months each year and pray that they stay around longer than normal. This year I plan on decorating for Fall after Labor Day, instead of waiting until the first day of Fall like I did last year.
Along with September, the weather has been nice a cool recently and I am definitely not complaining. Brooke and I have spent some time out and about, running errands and enjoying the nice weather. She is also getting much better at walking and I am surprised she is not doing it all the time yet. Last night Dustin and I sat across the room from each other and sent her back and forth, and she did wonderful! She could stop and then start again and even lean down and get back up with great balance. Any day now!

Pushing her walker down the side walk!
